Avalanche's Ivan Ivan: Pockets helper in win
Ivan logged an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
Ivan ended a seven-game point drought with the helper. The 22-year-old forward saw just 5:30 of ice time in the high-scoring contest. While his place in the lineup has been secure so far, the Avalanche are close to full health, missing just Ross Colton (foot) and Gabriel Landeskog (knee). Ivan's NHL time could end once one or both of those players return, though Landeskog has no firm timeline. Ivan has put up six points, 26 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 21 appearances as a rookie this season.

Avalanche's Devon Toews: Racks up two assists
Toews notched two assists, three blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
Toews has three helpers over his last three contests. The 30-year-old defenseman had his best game of the season Saturday, and it looks like his offense is trending in the right direction since the Avalanche have gotten close to full strength. Overall, Toews has seven points, 25 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 17 appearances, but his spot in the top four is safe.

Avalanche's Cale Makar: Provides two assists in win
Makar notched two assists, four shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
Makar has five points and a plus-5 rating over the last three games. The Avalanche appear to be rounding into form now that most of their regulars are healthy, and that's good news for the players who held the fort early in the season. Makar continues to be the cream of the crop for defensemen, racking up eight goals, 22 helpers, 62 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 21 appearances. He's earned 13 of his points on the power play and should continue to be excellent in all situations.

Avalanche's Logan O'Connor: Scores in Saturday's win
O'Connor scored a goal in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
O'Connor snapped an 11-game goal drought, putting the Avalanche ahead for the first time at 4:04 of the second period. During the slump, he had just two assists. The 28-year-old forward is up to four points, 23 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-4 rating over 21 outings this season. With the Avalanche closer to full strength at forward, O'Connor has been more firmly in a bottom-six role after occasionally playing up on the second line earlier in the campaign.

Avalanche's Oliver Kylington: Shows up on scoresheet
Kylington scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
Kylington missed time earlier in the season due to an illness, but he's also struggled to get in the lineup when healthy. He's primarily competed for a third-pairing spot that is usually filled by Calvin de Haan, though Kylington has now played in three straight games. Kylington's two points Saturday were his first scoring contributions of the season, and he's added two shots on net, two hits, six blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over seven outings. Without more offense, the 27-year-old won't be an option in most fantasy formats.

Avalanche's Samuel Girard: One of each Saturday
Girard scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
Girard put the Avalanche ahead 4-2 with a second-period tally and set up Mikko Rantanen's game-winner later in the frame. With six points over his last seven contests, Girard's offense has sparked to life. The blueliner is up to two goals, 10 assists, 21 shots on net, 21 hits, 41 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 21 appearances this season.

Rantanen scored the game-winning goal and added three assists in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
The superstar winger potted the fourth of four straight goals by the Avs in the second period, giving them a 5-2 lead. Rantanen has produced multiple points in five of the last nine games, racking up 10 goals and 17 points over that blistering stretch. His 32 points on the season are tied for fourth in the NHL, just behind teammate and scoring leader Nathan MacKinnon (35).

Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Three points in big win
Nichushkin scored a goal and added two assists in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
After helping to set up tallies by Samuel Girard and Oliver Kylington earlier in the night, Nichushkin capped the scoring for the Avs with an empty-netter. The points were the first of the season for the 29-year-old winger in four games, and he's settling in on the second line with Casey Mittelstadt and Mikko Rantanen.

Avalanche's Jonathan Drouin: Lights lamp twice against Florida
Drouin scored two goals on four shots while adding two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
The 29-year-old potted his first two tallies of the season, with the second coming just 34 seconds into the second period to tie the game at 2-2. Drouin has four points in four games since returning from an upper-body injury, and he should stay productive as long as he keeps skating on the Avs' top line with Nathan MacKinnon.

Avalanche's Alexandar Georgiev: Wild ride in fifth straight win
Georgiev turned aside 27 shots in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
Florida held a 2-1 lead after the first period, but Colorado scored four straight goals in the second to take control of the game. Even so, Georgiev gave up late goals in each of the final two frames to keep things interesting. The 28-year-old netminder has won five straight starts, posting a 2.58 GAA and .904 save percentage over that stretch.

Georgiev will defend the road net versus Florida on Saturday, David Dwork of The Hockey News reports.

Avalanche's Parker Kelly: Picks up assist in win
Kelly notched an assist in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Capitals.
Kelly helped out on linemate Miles Wood's game-winning goal at 3:29 of the third period. Over the last three games, Kelly has three points. The 25-year-old may be benefiting from a slightly smaller role since the Avalanche got some injured forwards back last week -- he's since shifted to the fourth-line center role after regularly playing on the third line. Kelly has four points, 27 shots on net, 40 hits, 21 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 20 appearances.

Wood scored a goal on a team-high five shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Capitals.

The winger has two points, eight shots and five hits over three contests since he returned from an upper-body injury. Overall, Wood has three points, 27 shots, 13 hits and 10 PIM through 13 appearances. His upside is limited in a fourth-line role, but he could always play his way into a better spot.

Rantanen scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Capitals.
Rantanen has three points over his last two games, including two on the power play, in a span in which the Avalanche have scored just five times. The 28-year-old winger has been dominant in November with nine goals and four assists over nine appearances. Overall, he has 13 goals, 28 points (11 on the power play), 61 shots on net, 16 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 20 contests.

Avalanche's T.J. Tynan: Back in NHL
Tynan was recalled from AHL Colorado on Thursday.
Tynan was sent down earlier in the day to clear a roster spot for Alexandar Georgiev's return from an upper-body injury. Tynan is now back in the NHL with Kevin Mandolese heading to the AHL. Tynan will be an option to play Saturday in Florida as long as he remains on the NHL roster.

Avalanche's Kevin Mandolese: Sent back down
Mandolese was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Thursday.
Mandolese filled the backup role in goal during Alexandar Georgiev's absence, but the former did not play during his brief stint in the NHL. With Georgiev healthy after winning Thursday against the Capitals, Mandolese heads back to the AHL ranks until the big club has another injury concern in goal.
